by spending oneself

The first thing you notice about Angela is her tremendous energy, which combines with nearly two decades of strategic marketing, advertising and public relations experience to infuse every project she touches. You won't find Angela's short stint as bass player in an "all chick" band—or playing volleyball by day and waiting tables at night (with business degree in hand)—on her resume. But after an ad agency's job offer convinced her to retire from her "sports career" she began learning the ad business from the ground up. And over the years, she's worked in the automotive, electronics, retail, and education categories as well as a spectrum of health care, biotechnology, and medical device and diagnostics companies including Kaiser Permanente, Galderma Laboratories, MEDICIS, Clarient (formerly ChromaVision Medical Systems Inc.), and Ossur. Today, working with some of the brightest marketing and creative people in the business, and sharing their passion for marketing, is just one of the many reasons iacunato/mclane is a perfect fit for Angela. Having been both the client and the agency in past lives, Angela takes advantage of those broad experiences ("improving on the great ones and learning from the awful ones") to tailor creative solutions for each individual client's unique needs and challenges. Most rewarding to Angela is that "we have tons of fun, without sacrificing the high-caliber of the work we produce." Angela has an MBA from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University. |
"My parents, who always demonstrate an amazing faith, unconditional love—and who never give up on the underdog." "My husband and son came along in my later years. They are the most important people—true miracles—in my life. Giving back is important to me, as well. I love to make baby blankets for Project Linus, a group that donates handmade blankets to provide security and comfort to children with various special needs." "Absolutely love music, so can't pick a favorite. Movies? It's a toss-up between The Big Chill (love the interpersonal dynamics) and Open Range. As for books, I'd have to say The Bible—how can you beat it, it's a bestseller! Don't watch much TV anymore, but my son and I never miss Curious George!" "People who put others down to make themselves feel more important, not keeping promises . . . and not putting the dirty dishes in the dishwasher!" "I would love to own a horse ranch. I love nature and the idea of living somewhere without traffic." | |
